Valentine’s Week at Pace 2019
Pace is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a ton of sweet events! Rock out at the Dez Duron concert, treat yourself to a spa night, and even eschew tradition at the anti-Valentine’s Day party (yes, really).
Valentine’s Day Fortune Cookies
Wednesday, February 13 | 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m. | Kessel Well
Surprise your partner (or friends!) with a fortune cookie courtesy of the Asian Student Union. They’ll be showing you how to make, decorate, and package this special treat for someone special.
Sig I Sweets
Wednesday, February 13 | 12:00 p.m.–1:20 p.m. | Kessel Well
Fit as many candies as you can into a single bag for only $5, courtesy of Sigma Iota Chi! They’re raising money to fundraise for breast cancer research and Alzheimer’s awareness, so you’ll be doing a good deed while sating that sweet tooth.
Message in a Bottle
Wednesday, February 13 | 3:00 p.m.–4:20 p.m. | Kessel Well
It’s another Sigma Iota Chi event held in honor of Alzheimer’s awareness. Stop by their table to learn more and participate, as they’ll have plenty of sand, bottles, and paper on hand for an interactive experience. It’s $3 per person!
Sweetheart Social with Dez Duron
Friday, February 15 | 7:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m. | Boudreau Lounge and Gottesman Room
The Programming Board is welcoming musician Dez Duron to kick off Valentine’s Day weekend. Duron is a singer/songwriter from NYC who garnered national attention on NBC's hit show The Voice. By combining jazz and soul influences, Duron became a top eight finalist and the final contestant on Team Christina Aguilera.
Love Yo Self
Saturday, February 16 | 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. | Kessel Multi-Purpose Room
Whether you have a sweetheart or you’re your own sweetheart, the Programming Board wants to treat you to a very special spa night with plenty of relaxation and giveaways. Treat yourself! You’ve earned it.
Valentine’s Day Bake Sale
Tuesday, February 12 | 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. | Civic Center
Stocking up on candy is totally okay to do periodically. Buy a few sweet treats from the Chemistry Club this Valentine’s Day week!
Tuesday, February 12 | 5:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. | 163 William Street, 2nd Floor
If you’re sick of seeing pink hearts everywhere you turn, come hang out with Seidenberg for their anti-party. Run in conjunction with Pace Honors, this is one of their top annual events where you can join friends and express how you really feel. Come have food, drinks, and fun during the most unromantic event of the year!
Her Campus Valentine’s Day Table
Thursday, February 14 | 3:25 p.m.–4:25 p.m. | Setters Hallway
Need to grab a last-minute gift for someone? No problem! Her Campus will be selling chocolates and flowers, the go-to gift for Valentine’s Day.
Thursday, February 14 | 3:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m. | Zannino Conference Room
Swing by to put together some bags of Valentine's Day candy for your loved ones. Coffee and hot chocolate will be provided. (The Zannino Conference Room is right next to the new Student Center in One Pace Plaza!)
