Why did you choose Lubin for your MS degree?

After completing a bachelor's degree in communications and dipping my toes into the waters of Marketing and PR, I still had a need to further my theoretical and research knowledge, but I didn't want to walk away from real-world experience either. Pace University was offering a Master's Degree in Marketing that was created and executed in collaboration with an actual New York ad agency - that was a 100% hit on all of my targets! A pleasant addition was the graduate assistantship I was offered, which definitely helped carry the load of my finances while pursuing the degree.

What was your favorite Lubin experience?

My favorite Lubin experience was participating in - and winning! – marketing data science competitions, organized by marketing firms, Publicis and Group M. I still find the knowledge and skills I obtained during those competitions an invaluable contribution to my day-to-day strategic and tactical tasks at work.

The MS program gave me a huge upper-hand when joining the workforce. Classes and lectures were taught by actual media specialists, and guest speakers including seasoned ad gurus fresh from the trenches. That head start allowed me to get promoted within six months of starting a job!

What is your main takeaway from our MS program?
