New York Is Back

After several months of interruption due to the pandemic, Pace Athletics are making a comeback. The field hockey team's latest victory has pushed the Setters' record to 8-5 this season, including a 6-4 mark inside the Northeast-10 Conference.

In NYC, we had one of the largest ever turnouts for our annual President and Provost Welcome Back Party. Despite the masks, students, staff, and faculty are thrilled to be back on campus and getting to see each other in person.

Student events, which had been somewhat limited during the height of the pandemic, have returned in full force. We're thankful to be able to host more in-person events on campus and even more thankful that we've been able to do so safely.

After a year of giving speeches via Zoom, President Krislov and Provost Quiñones are back to addressing the Pace Community in person. Nobody is on mute here!

In Pleasantville, student life has returned. Clubs and organizations are recruiting new members and hosting events and more students are getting the opportunity to meet new people and try new things.

Over the summer, Pace completed the second phase of the Master Plan on floors 4, 5, and 6 of One Pace Plaza. These new spaces for the Lubin School of Business offer state-of-the-art classrooms and plenty of places for students to gather to both work on their academic projects and interact socially.

This year, we enrolled the biggest class of new undergraduates in at least 20 years (and possibly ever).

Now that it feels like we've reached the other side of the pandemic, even the simple joys of standing close enough for a selfie are to be appreciated like never before.
