When she first enrolled at the Lubin School of Business, Erika Hostrop '23 immediately knew she wanted to take advantage of everything Pace University and Lubin had to offer. Not only has she studied abroad, but Erika has also put in the work to revamp an on-campus club, routinely checks in with Career Services, and has gone after opportunities presented to her outside of the classroom.
Lubin student Latoya Robinson '23 is making a name for herself in the music industry and on-campus. As she pursues her BBA in Arts and Entertainment Management, she's also interning at Sony Music as an A+R intern, discovering new talent and helping them launch into stardom. Meanwhile, on the New York City Campus, Latoya is on the e-board for the Residence Hall Association and a member of the Black Student Union and P.A.C.E. Board, where she has the opportunity to curate and be part of major events.
Fatima Rehana '23 always dreamed of getting a graduate degree that combined her interests in marketing and analytics. She found that unique opportunity at the Lubin School of Business. As she pursues her MBA in Marketing Analytics, Fatima is also building leadership skills and friendships on campus by taking advantage of all of the student organizations that Pace University offers.
Although her passion lies in literature, Leslie Vargas '24 landed at the Lubin School of Business for our Entrepreneurship program to learn the finance and business practices that she says creatives are often not taught. Now, Leslie is using her leadership and business skills to run the Ebony Tomatoes Collective, a digital publication that publishes the work of Black women and non-binary people.
For Katie Stephens '23, working in the music industry has been a lifelong dream. Luckily, she's on the right path to fulfilling that dream. Not only will Katie graduate in May 2023 with her BBA in Arts and Entertainment Management, but she's also the Marketing Director for Pace Music Group and a representative for Warner Music U, proving that she's on her way to a successful career in the industry.
Bryan Viglione '24 is making the most out of his time at the Lubin School of Business. Not only is he a member of Pace University's men's lacrosse team, but he also works as Chief Financial Officer of Pace Perk Cafe and as an accounting tutor in the Tutoring Center–all while working towards his BBA/MBA in Public Accounting. His involvement and leadership on-campus even landed him an internship at a Big Four firm.
After jumping into an exciting exchange program in Spain, Kelsey Tulley '25 now encourages other Lubin School of Business students to do the same—not only to see the world, but to generate a new mindset. She credits a study abroad scholarship designed exclusively for Lubin students abroad and the knowledge she gained in her business courses for a successful semester in Europe.
Commencement 2023 just got 5x more exciting! This May, the Class of 2023 will celebrate with a creative genius and fashion entrepreneur, an intrepid US Senator, a renowned legal scholar, a former CEO of the largest telcom company in the US, and a nonprofit leader dedicated to justice and equality.
