The Madness of March returns to Pace University once again: For the first time in school history the Pace University Men's Basketball team earns back-to-back NCAA championship berths as the Setters heard their name called in Sunday night's Selection Show on NCAA.com. Pace received the No. 5 seed in the East Region and will face No. 4 seed and fellow Northeast-10 Conference foe University of New Haven.

Pace University’s Lubin School of Business, in collaboration with AnD Ventures, recently launched the Pace Entrepreneurship Studio (PES) with the mission to support Pace students, faculty, staff and alumni in taking their compelling business ideas or ventures from concept to company.

Pace University Seidenberg School of CSIS Professor Zhan Zhang, PhD, recently received a $499,966 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to develop touchless smart glasses that will allow emergency care professionals to collect data, communicate with other specialists, and pull up medical protocol checklists with a gesture of the head or through voice controls. They’ll no longer need to take their hands—or their eyes—off the patient or risk transferring germs to and from a computer keyboard.

Pace University on Wednesday hosted its annual LGBTQA+ Pride Hoops Night, a collaboration between Pace University's Office of Gender & Sexuality and Pace Athletics. The tradition began in 2016, following the tragedy at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, to make a bold and positive statement to address hate and show that Pace is a welcoming and supportive institution to the LGBTQA+ community.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is proud to announce that Karl Coplan, Professor of Law Emeritus and Director of Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic at Haub Law, along with Achinthi Vithanage, Associate Director of Environmental Law Programs & Professor at Haub Law, were named to the 2023 Lawdragon Green 500: Leaders in Environmental Law.

Jorge Islas López, Consul General of Mexico in New York, delivered the 2023 Blaine Sloan Lecture on International Law on Wednesday, February 1, speaking on "The Consular Duty and the Protection of Human Rights in New York.” The Blaine Sloan Lecture on International Law honors F. Blaine Sloan for developing the international law studies program at Pace. Consul General Islas López is also Giovanni Sartori Constitutional Law Professor, National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Pace University yesterday adopted the Okanagan Charter, an international framework for promoting wellness on campuses globally, during a campus-wide fair lauding the importance of wellbeing for its students. Hundreds of students, faculty, and staff turned out across all three of its campuses to celebrate the signing as well as to see dozens of exhibitors and programs available to members of the Pace community.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University will bestow the 2023 Robert S. Tucker Prize for Prosecutorial Excellence on Veronica Dragalin, Chief of the Anticorruption Prosecution Office for the Republic of Moldova, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of criminal prosecution and excellence in prosecutorial practice.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University has opened Westchester County’s first Legal Hand Call-in Center, in partnership with Legal Hand, Inc., an innovative community-based service.
