The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is proud to have been ranked #11 out of the top 20 ABA-accredited law schools for women. A Women in Law School report from Enjuris compiled data from the ABA on law school enrollment in 2021. For the sixth year in a row, women made up the majority (55%) of law school students pursuing JD degrees in the United States. The report broke down law school gender diversity by state and highlighted the top-ranked schools for women. Haub Law is proud to be a top choice for women when they are considering their law education!

Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University Professors Bridget J. Crawford and Emily Gold Waldman announce the release of their book “Menstruation Matters: Challenging the Law’s Silence on Periods,” published by NYU Press. The book explores the burgeoning menstrual advocacy movement and analyzes how law should evolve to take menstruation into account. It asks what the law currently says about menstruation and provides a roadmap for legal reform that can move society closer to a world where no one is held back or disadvantaged by menstruation.

Pace University and the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC/CUNY) have partnered to offer transfer opportunities for BMCC students. At a signing ceremony held June 8, President Krislov and Dr. Anthony E. Munroe, President of BMCC, announced the program, becoming available this Fall.

Professor Sonia Suchday, Ph.D., chair of the Psychology Department in the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University in New York City, has been appointed to Pace’s Board of Trustees.

During a special event at Cipriani 42^nd Street, Pace University recognized five outstanding community and business leaders, and alumni with The Spirit of Pace Awards. Celebrating Pace University’s role as a national leader in providing a college education with strong return on investment, the annual event brings the University community together to support student scholarships and special initiatives.

The Pace University Art Gallery in Lower Manhattan is pleased to present “Dallies,” a solo exhibition of paintings, photographs, and mixed media works by Wyatt Kahn. The “Dallies” exhibit is on view concurrent with Kahn’s “Life in the Abstract,” an exhibition of seven monumental new Cor-Ten steel sculptures at City Hall Park, presented by the Public Art Fund. Just across Park Row from each other, both exhibits opened with public previews on Tuesday, June. “Dallies” will be on view in the gallery through September 9, 2022.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University hosted a Health Law and Policy Summit bringing together healthcare professionals and lawyers to discuss key legal issues for operations and transactions and for the delivery of healthcare in today’s changing landscape. Co-sponsored by Pace University’s College of Health Professions and the Westchester County Association, the event offered NYS Attorney CLE credit and included two thoughtful panel discussions led by Haub Law faculty who teach in the Law School’s Advanced Certificate in Health Law and Policy.

At the University’s first in-person graduation ceremony in three years, U.S. Congresswoman Grace Meng delivered the commencement address to the graduates from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, and also received an honorary doctorate. This year marked the first year that Pace University held a combined ceremony for graduates of its campuses in New York City, Pleasantville, and White Plains. Delivering the commencement address for Pace University was Mayor Eric Adams, who also received an honorary doctorate. Finance and philanthropy leader, Baroness Ariane de Rothschild, a Pace alum, was also recognized.
