Pace University’s documentary film team, PaceDocs, last night premiered its latest film, "For the Love of Food: Pour l’amour de la Cuisine" to a full theater at Jacob Burns Film Center. It was followed by and question-and-answer session with the audience and filmmakers.

Pace University’s board of trustees voted yesterday to launch the Sands College of Performing Arts this fall. The college, which will commence with the 2023–2024 academic year, is named in recognition of a $25 million gift from Pamela and Rob Sands, J.D. ’84, and becomes the seventh school and college within Pace University.

Pace University will host At a Point of Change II, an outdoor student photography exhibition, which will be on view in front of One Pace Plaza from May 1–15 before moving to Pace’s Westchester campus until October 1.

Pace University Art Gallery is pleased to present “Cut the Slack: Project Studio Senior Capstone Exhibition,” featuring students enrolled in the Spring 2023 Project Studio B course, taught this year by Prof. Roger Sayre. The exhibit opens to the public with a reception on Friday, April 28 from 5:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. and continues through Thursday, May 11.

Pace University is part of a winning collaboration chosen by New York City Mayor Eric Adams and The Trust for Governors Island that will create a world-leading climate solutions center on the 172-acre island in the heart of New York Harbor.

Mental health, counseling, substance abuse, and suicide prevention services are among growing needs in lower Westchester that were identified by a team of Pace University faculty researchers during a survey of community residents. The study, commissioned by The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe was conducted by the Helene T. and Grant M. Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship at Pace University over an 18 month period that included interviews with area not-for-profits, service providers, and stakeholders.

Terryl Brown, an attorney with extensive legal, leadership, and management experience in city and state government, has been named vice president and general counsel for Pace University.

Pace University's Esports Program has taken the college gaming world by storm, winning a March Madness-styled bracket for college esports programs hosted by Esports Foundry.
