Teammates and coaches are critical to the success of many college students. Pace University. Our Westchester campus is home to our athletics program.
After 10 years as president of Oberlin College, Marvin Krislov came on board as the president of Pace in 2017. He is deeply committed to the importance of diversity and the notion that all students, regardless of their economic backgrounds, should have access to the transformative power of education.
In spite of the pandemic, Pace is marching ahead. With the continued transformation of the NYC Campus, new interdisciplinary academic programs, and a bright look to the future, Pace continues to thrive.
It’s no secret that wellness—physical, mental, spiritual—is a key component to success. At Pace, we’re taking a holistic approach to supporting wellness for all members of our community through the creation of a new role, the Chief Wellness Officer.
A return to normal never felt so good! Pace's campuses are buzzing with activity and New York is coming alive after nearly two years of life during a global pandemic.
Recently, Pace University released our first-ever Pace Business Poll. It was a deep look at business conditions in the New York City metro area, where we have campuses in lower Manhattan and Westchester County.
“We’re excited about fully reopening,” says Marvin Krislov, president of Pace, which at press time was “expecting to be fully in-person for the fall with a full slate of activities, including athletics and community events.”
Students begin arriving at our campuses in New York City and Westchester County next week, and we were — are — eager to welcome them to the college experience they want to have.
At Pace University, we’ve long prioritized preparing our students for the workforce, giving them the skills, tools, and experiences they need to hit the ground running in their careers after graduation. As part of that commitment, our remarkable Career Services office works intensively with students to prepare them for the job market, coaching them on resumes, interviews, and other parts of the application process. Our efforts deliver: Our placement rates are consistently above national averages.
The president of Pace University, Marvin Krislov, has an op-ed in the Daily News about the importance of requiring vaccination for students. “The numbers are less impressive among the college-aged. Statewide, only about 55% of those aged 16 to 25 have received one dose, and only about 49% are fully vaccinated. Colleges and universities have a unique role as educators, as community leaders, and frankly as good neighbors to help ensure everyone around us is protected.”
