News12 had the scoop on move-in day in Pleasantville, and the excitement continued on Tuesday when Pace hosted its annual Convocation ceremonies one in lower Manhattan followed by another in Westchester welcoming 2,348 new and transfer students from 49 states and 64 countries.

Pace is among 50 colleges and universities in New York on Princeton Review’s top schools list, reports WKXW-FM Online New Jersey 101.5.

Haub Law Professor Emeritus Jay C. Carlisle II writes in The Westchester County Bar Association’s Westchester Lawyer Magazine recounting the many contributions of the late Professor Vanessa H. The Hudson Valley Post has reported that Pace University is among the nearly 50 colleges in New York (and among only 15 percent of US colleges that made the national list) highlighted in the 2025 "Best College" rankings by The Princeton Review, "one of the nation’s leading education services companies."

Unlike other rankings that are based on academics, institutional data, or college administrators' opinions, The Princeton Review's rankings are based on opinions from actual students, who complete an 89-question survey about their school. Categories to rate include professors, administrators, financial aid, campus amenities, school services, and other aspects of life at their respective colleges.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is proud to announce that Professor Sonya Ziaja has been selected to receive the 2024–2025 Pace |Haub Environmental Law Distinguished Junior Scholar Award. The Haub Environmental Law Distinguished Junior Scholar Award is presented annually to an emerging junior environmental law professor who exhibits scholarly excellence and promise at an early stage in their career. 

Clinical Assistant Professor Akil DuPont, MFA, Media, Communications, and Visual Arts, won the Best Production award at the Spring/Summer 2024 New York Theater Festival for Underground, a story of the enslaved, told with the spirituals that guided them to freedom, and inspired by real events in America’s history. His role was as a writer, producer and director.

An eventful week of fun-filled festivities and students returning to campus culminated Tuesday when Pace University welcomed its Class of 2028 during its Convocation.

With a background steeped in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, Assistant Professor Soheyla Amirian, PhD, brings innovative expertise to our campus. She is spearheading the new Applied Machine Intelligence Initiatives and Education (AMIIE) Laboratory, where cutting-edge research meets real-world impact.
