Catherine Finlayson
Biography
Catherine S. Finlayson joined the faculty of Pace University’s Lienhard School of Nursing in the department of PhD in Nursing, as a tenure-track associate professor in 2021. Prior to coming to Pace, she was a clinical nurse IV at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for 15 years.
Dr. Finlayson received the Doctoral Degree Scholarship in Cancer Nursing from the American Cancer Society to support her dissertation research, which subsequently won the outstanding dissertation award that year. She was the recipient of the 2018 Oncology Nursing Society Trish Greene Memorial Lectureship.
She currently serves as the chair of the American Nurses Association-New York, Political Action Committee.

- American Cancer Society, Doctoral Degree Scholarship in Cancer Nursing. The Experience of Being Aware of Disease Status in Women with Recurrent Ovarian Cancer: A Phenomenological Study.
