Biography

Adjunct Professor Linda Wayner is Deputy Counsel for United Nations and Consular Affairs at the Office of the Mayor of New York City. Prior to joining the Office of the Mayor, Prof. Wayner was a commercial litigation attorney at the global law firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP. She received her law degree from the University of Michigan, where she was an associate editor of the Michigan Law Review. Prof. Wayner obtained both a bachelor's and master's degree in International Politics from Baylor University. She currently serves as a Deputy President of the Hispanic National Bar Association for the New York region, and is a member of the New York City Bar Association's Committee on International Security Affairs.
