Faculty Bio
Dr. Michele Zaccario is a Professor of Psychology at Pace University in New York City, teaching in both the doctoral and undergraduate programs. She serves as the Co-Director of the Undergraduate Psychology Program - NYC campus and the School-Clinical-Child Doctoral Program. She is also a NYS licensed psychologist, consultant practitioner, and researcher within the Pediatric Department of New York University Langone Medical Center (NYULMC) – Division of Neonatology working with high-risk infants and young children. Dr. Zaccario’s clinical specialty and research areas include psychological and personality assessment, the neurodevelopmental follow-up of premature and developmentally at-risk infants, and the neuropsychological assessment of neurologically impacted and medically fragile children and adolescents. She has taught and advised in the PsyD program for many years, covering neurodevelopmental, neuropsychological, personality, and early childhood assessment courses. Dr. Zaccario also teaches and mentors at the undergraduate level and serves as a psychology advisor, a transfer student advisor, and a faculty representative to the university-wide Wellness Advisory Committee (WAC).
