At the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, you’ll gain hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art Communications Center, working with professional-grade equipment such as HDV cameras and industry-standard AVID and Final Cut Studio editing systems. While studying in New York, you’ll have access to internships with leading organizations like Madison Square Garden, SiriusXM, and NBC News. Earn academic credit, develop invaluable professional skills, and build a lifetime network of industry contacts.

Our expert faculty bring a wealth of experience across disciplines, including public relations, advertising, video and audio production, speech, and journalism. Adjunct professors—all specialists in their fields—enhance your coursework with the latest industry insights and unique networking opportunities. You can also join Entrance One, Pace’s student-run public relations agency, where you’ll gain hands-on experience planning and executing campus events alongside fellow Pace Setters.

Unique Program Highlights

  • You can work with EntranceOne, a student-run public relations agency. As a part of EntranceOne, you will be a key player in executing several department and campus events, including student and faculty art shows, Connections in Communications, and the MCVA Jamboree! EntranceOne members are also engaged in service-learning projects where you develop and execute communication plans for external organizations.
  • Hands-on Learning: In our Communications Center, where you will take most of your classes, you will work with professional digital equipment such as HDV cameras, AVID and Final Cut Studio editing systems, and view films in the screening room, featuring digital video projection and a 92” screen.
  • In required internships, you will earn academic credit and gain valuable professional skills as well as build a network of industry contacts for a lifetime.
