Expand Your Opportunities with one of the World’s Most Spoken Languages

Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and the second most spoken language in the United States, with more than 41 million speakers and growing. Whether you’re seeking a competitive edge in your career or want to immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Spanish-speaking world, Spanish is a marketable and increasingly essential skill in today’s global economy. Earn your bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Pace University and gain the linguistic, cultural, and literary expertise needed to excel in fields such as business, marketing, teaching, translation, international business, law, government, and travel.

At the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, you’ll benefit from small class sizes and personalized instruction from expert faculty in a supportive environment. Pace’s extensive internship placement program—one of the largest in the New York metropolitan area—offers opportunities to practice your Spanish skills in fields like travel and tourism, government, diplomacy, nonprofit organizations, and business. Few programs provide the same level of connection to local Spanish-speaking communities, helping you develop bilingual and bicultural competencies for real-world success.

Pace also offers enriching study abroad programs and cultural activities to enhance your language skills. Get involved in the Spanish Club, the Latin American Student Organization, and Phi Sigma Iota—the national foreign language honor society—to further build your knowledge and network while celebrating Spanish language and culture.
