The Applied Data and Networking Sciences Lab
The Applied Data and Networking Sciences Lab
Located on the 10th floor of 161 William Street, the Applied Data and Networking Sciences lab provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on, practical experience with a wealth of different systems and technology, mainly cybersecurity, big data, and CISCO networking systems.
Students often find that employers only want to hire people who already have experience doing a job, which is not always possible for someone fresh out of college. The Applied Data and Networking Sciences lab allows you to close the gap between the theoretical knowledge you gain in your classes and the practical experience employers are looking for.
Cybersecurity students can practice cracking codes and hacking into servers; data analysis students can use our massive database to perform the same tasks that professionals complete as their job; telecommunications and networking students can make the most of our designation as a CISCO Net Academy and get free training that other institutions typically charge for.
The lab is run by Seidenberg faculty member and Associate Dean, Dr. James Gabberty. All Pace students are welcome to visit the lab, no matter what you are majoring in – so drop by and see how you can make the most of our offerings.
