The Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship, in conjunction with Pace University's Career Services, provides resources and networking opportunities for Pace students interested in pursuing careers in nonprofits, government/nongovernmental organizations, social enterprises and social ventures. From microfinance and philanthropic advisement, to community and international development, careers in social enterprise are wide-ranging and diverse.

General Resources
Pace University Career Services: This department is an invaluable resource in your career planning. Their professional counselors are available to meet with you to discuss your academic and career plans and can assist with choosing a major, defining your career goals, creating/updating your resume, developing your job search strategy and everything in between. Each year, over 400 employers recruit graduating students from Pace for professional positions through the campus interview program and Career Fairs.

Idealist: A database where graduate and undergraduate students may seek all types of employment both in the US and abroad. Listings include volunteering opportunities, internships, part-time, and full-time positions in a variety of fields.
Foundation Center: Offers positions that would appeal mostly to the graduate student population, although there are adequate offerings for undergraduate students.
Chronicle of Philanthropy: A variety of opportunities for both Graduate and Undergraduate students, mostly in the fundraising and development arena. Also a source of information and news on the nonprofit sector, with a focus on fundraising and philanthropy.
NYNP Press: Nonprofit online newspaper with current job postings for both Graduate and Undergraduate students. The jobs that are posted on this site are a mixture of Executive positions and entry-level jobs for community organizations. Mostly NY-area jobs, many in human services (social work, case work, direct care, etc.).
Commongood Careers: Posts opportunities in nonprofits and across the social sector. Some positions in New York, most elsewhere in the US.
Dot.org.jobs: An online database search for jobs posted through on|Philanthropy. Some positions in New York, most elsewhere in the US.
Opportunity Knocks: An online database posting opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students from a variety of concentrations. Positions listed across the US, with a concentration in the San Franciso area.
Nonprofit Job Seeker: The Nonprofit Times job listings. Mainly mid-level and senior-level positions in the nonprofit sector.
Nonprofit Career Network: Posts a variety of entry-level, mid-level, and senior-level job positions for undergraduate and graduate students. There are listings that cater to students from a wide range of concentrations.
Professionals for Nonprofits: An online source serving to connect nonprofit employers to job seekers. Both employers and job seekers are required to register on the website.
ExecSearches: Many job postings in the New York Area. Most positions are better suited for graduate students with at least one year of work experience.
Council on Foundations: Positions mostly require an advanced degree and several years of experience.
Charity Channel: Positions mostly require an advanced degree and several years of experience.
Interaction: Several key resources that are useful to people seeking paid or volunteer positions in the U.S. and abroad with international relief and development agencies. It is required that a free account is created on this website in order to view job postings.

Independent Sector: Positions mostly require an advanced degree and several years of experience; limited NYC-area opportunities.
Opportunities for International Students and Students Interested in Working Abroad
Pace International Student and Scholar Services: This department provides assistance to Pace University's international students interested in working in the U.S. during the course of enrollment or after graduation. Staff will provide guidance and advice, and host a number of informational sessions throughout the year. We recommend that all international students consult the International Student Services staff for more information about work authorization.
