Updates Related to COVID-19

ID Card Offices

No student, staff, or faculty member will be allowed inside of the ID Card Office to take a photo.

New ID Card procedures as outlined below will be mandatory at all campus locations.

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY ID CARD

As a result of new student orientations taking place online this summer, the following new procedures will be required for the safety of all:

  • Resident student ID’s will be provided to the housing teams prior to the move-in process.  Resident students will retrieve their ID at the time of check-in from residence life.
  • Incoming freshman will receive a communication from Auxiliary Services with details of the ID Card distribution process. The Communication will indicate by last name (i.e. A-C), the date and time to obtain the pre-printed ID Card from the respective campus location.
  • Commuter students who have received a notification that their ID photos have been approved and would like to pick them at an alternate time than scheduled can email the ID office at auxiliaryservices@pace.edu to schedule a pick-up time.
  • All incoming students and new hire employees will be required to electronically upload photos prior to arriving on Pace’s campus. These changes will be communicated during summer orientations, included in new student communications, and HR communications to new staff and faculty.
  • All returning students, staff, or faculty who have lost or misplaced their ID Card will be required to submit a helpdesk ticket or email to Auxiliary Services prior to returning to campus to request a replacement.  Replacement cards will be pre-printed and available for pick-up at the onset of the fall semester or resumption of activities on campus.

Staff – Please bring your official new hire confirmation, along with a government issued ID (driver’s license, passport, etc).

Online Photo ID Submission

Auxiliary Services has added a new online photo submission page for incoming students so that you can take your own identification picture for your new school ID. By logging onto the link below (Blackboard e-Accounts) with your Pace Portal/Pace Email credentials, you will then be able to upload your photo following the steps:

  • Log-in
  • click profile (top left)
  • click submit new photo
  • upload/take new photo (click add photo or drag photo into place)
  • click submit

There are a few select requirements that the photos must meet in order to get approval:

  • Head shot
  • White background
  • Color photo
  • No hats, sunglasses, or other obstructions to the photo

Once the photo is submitted, an Auxiliary Services Staff member will approve the photo as long as all the requirements outlined above are followed. If you are attending a freshman Orientation and you have submitted your photo online prior to the deadline of your scheduled Orientation (at least three days in advance), you will receive your photo ID at that Orientation session. If you did not submit your photo prior to the Orientation deadline, you must stop by the ID Office during the allocated time at Orientation to take a photo and receive your new ID card.

To obtain an ID at any other time, please submit your photo at least three days in advance of your arrival at Pace to retrieve your ID Card or you can stop by the ID Office on your campus and have your photo taken. After the photo is taken, the ID card will be printed and given to you on the spot. Please note the requirements stated above for obtaining your ID Card in person.

Please make sure you have activated your Pace email in order to access this site.
