Faculty Bio

Dr. Ferguson received her Psy.D. in School-Clinical Child Psychology from Pace University in 2022. She is a licensed psychologist who provides neuropsychological testing and therapy services to individuals in addition to her duties as a member of the Pace University psychology department.

Research and Creative Works

Research Interest

Rooted in the recognition of historical, systemic, and socio-cultural factors, Dr. Ferguson's research endeavors aim to help bridge the gap in the knowledge and acceptance of mental health in minority communities and will help contribute to the advancement of culturally sensitive and equitable mental health interventions for these populations. Dr. Ferguson's research will incorporate the use of neuropsychological assessment as well as lived or vicarious traumatic experiences to gain a better understanding about risk and protective factors in vulnerable populations.
