Curriculum
The Bachelor of Science in Health Science offers students a broad overview of our healthcare system while preparing students for careers in health care administrative fields and master’s level practitioner programs, such as Communication Sciences and Disorders, Nutrition and Dietetics, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Optometry, and other healthcare fields.
You’ll choose from two tracks:
- Interdisciplinary Health Science which includes 2 concentrations: Global Health, and Policy and Advocacy
- Pre-health Profession, which, based on the graduate school requirements, may or may not include one of the two concentrations offered to the Interdisciplinary Health Science students.

Introduction to Health Promotion that provides a comprehensive guide to health promotion concepts; Health Informatics and Telehealth where you will learn about info technology as it applies to healthcare; and Leadership and Management in Healthcare, a course that combines theories of leadership and management with the practice in the art of leading.
