Three days after moving in together, a woman tells a man she doesn't love him anymore. Suddenly, as they deconstruct their relationship, the play itself undergoes a parallel breakdown. Leaving the characters, and the actors performing them to ask, Is there anything at all behind the artifices we use in art and in life?

  • Pace University Sands College of Performing Arts student Carly Cooper

    Carly Cooper is an actor born and raised in New York City. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Michigan and is currently pursuing an MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. She is thrilled to be performing in this year's ASDS Repertory Season. Some recent credits include A Midsummer Night's Dream (Neo-Political Cowgirls), Dancing at Lughnasa (NPC) and Constellations (ASDS). She would like to thank her family for all of their support.

  • Pace University Sands College of Performing Arts student Jake Malavsky

    Jake Malavsky is an New York City based actor. His NYC credits include Chasing Andy Warhol (Bated Breath Theater Co) and Restoration In Progress (Provincetown Playhouse). Regional credits include Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure (West Virginia Public Theatre), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare on the Sound), and How Many Bushels Am I Worth? (AS220 Providence). Jake is an ensemble member of Hook & Eye Theater Company in Brooklyn. He works with the performing arts students at Barnard College/Columbia University as a Teaching Artist. He received his BA/BS from Bucknell University and is pursuing his MFA at Pace’s The Actors Studio Drama School. More info can be found at Jake's website or by following Jake on Instagram.

Director

  • Pace University Sands College of Performing Arts director David Hughes

    P. David Hughes is a director, producer, actor, and educator. He is the founder of an eastern Pennsylvania company called Ghostlight Studios and has worked to build community in Pennsylvania through Performing Artists of the Lehigh Valley. In New York, he has directed Children of Gaia (Keyhani), The Informer (Brecht), The Lover (Pinter), Gladiator (Caliban), and is currently working on a production of Every Brilliant Thing (MacMillan) which is being modified to speak to concerns about suicide in the veteran community. Other productions have included: An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein, All in the Timing (Ives), and The Fifteen Minute Hamlet (Stoppard). He was a key producer and Assistant Director for The Midsummer Renaissance Faire (2007–2010) and later went on to serve as an Assistant Director for the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival (2023) and an Assistant Tech Director for Northampton Professional Summer Theatre (2022).
