Mel Henry (they/them) is an audio engineer based in New York City. They are currently the full time assistant sound at Little Shop of Horrors off-broadway. In their time at Pace, they have designed and mixed the mainstage musicals 9 to 5, Into the Woods, and were the A2 for If/then. They worked regionally as the A1 for His Story: The Musical, where they became a member of IATSE Local 127. Mel has also been able to do shop work at Sound Associates, PRG, and Masque Sound. They have also gotten to work for The Public, as an audio overhire. Mel is passionate about being an A2, mixing musicals, and working backstage. When they aren't in the theater they enjoy video games, skateboarding, and spending time in the park.
