The Pace Mobile Lab is, as its name indicates, dedicated to all things mobile, from conceiving and developing apps to using mobile innovations to address social and global challenges in areas like health, microfinance, education, and civic activism. Whether it’s the handheld computer you carry in your pocket, the watch that tracks your steps, or your collection of smart home appliances, there is a lot to learn and create in this exciting and ever-evolving industry.
Get Involved
The Pace Mobile Lab hosts a wealth of events, including hackathons and crash courses in app development for professionals, as well as introductions to mobile app development for high school students. Research is wide and varied, and our areas of interest range from wearables like Lilypad boards to design new fashion clothes and accessories, to analysis of mobile datasets to determine movement of population.
