Study abroad for a semester or year, take your financial aid with you, and earn credit toward your degree!
Semester Study Abroad Programs
Pace has agreements with dozens of carefully selected universities around the world where you can study. A semester abroad can cost the same as – or less than – a semester at Pace, depending on the program and location. Pace offers 75 approved semester partner programs, listed below. Students pay Pace tuition and fees, but students pay room/board directly to the host institution abroad. All federal and NY State (TAP) financial aid applies for study abroad.
Difference between Exchange and Partner program options
The difference between EXCHANGE semester program options and PARTNER semester program options (PDF) is related to the amount of financial support a Pace student can receive.
Exchange programs
100% of Pace scholarships and grants and Pace tuition remission applies. For students who receive considerable institutional aid, Exchanges are the best option. However, application deadlines can be earlier for exchange programs and spots are limited.
Partner programs
$12,500 (maximum) of Pace scholarships and grants per semester applies (for up to two semesters). For example, if a student receives $15,000 of Pace scholarships and grants per semester, they will forfeit $2,500; this $2,500 cannot be carried over to the following semester.
