Below are events that Education Abroad is offering for students, faculty, and the wider Pace community – topics related to study abroad.

Study Abroad Fairs at Pace

  • September 11, 2024, 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., New York City, 1 Pace Plaza Student Center
  • September 12, 2024, 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., Pleasantville, Kessel Gottesman Room

Pace's Study Abroad Fairs offer students the opportunity to learn about studying abroad as part of their Pace Path! Speak one-on-one with Pace students who have studied abroad, Pace professors offering study abroad courses abroad, and representatives from our wonderful partner universities worldwide. Pace offers study abroad programs in 50+ countries. Our Pace Study Abroad Fair "Passport" guide (PDF) offers advice for students to help prioritize what's important when considering study abroad.

Meet other Pace students who have been approved to study abroad during the January Intersession 2025 term. After reading new updates in your Terra Dotta application, review the next steps in your study abroad journey. Bring your questions and concerns.

Meet other Pace students who have been approved to study abroad during the Spring 2025 term. After reading new updates in your Terra Dotta application, review the next steps in your study abroad journey. Bring your questions and concerns.

Spain Visa Workshop
October 3, 3:25 p.m.–4:25 p.m.
161 William Street, 16th Floor Conference Room
Students studying in Spain for the Spring 2025 semester must attend this Visa Workshop to learn about the visa application process, which is done as a group. Note: Students must submit all required visa application materials to the Pace Education Abroad office by October 18. If this deadline is missed, the student must make an individual appointment with the Spanish Consulate to acquire their own student visa. Individual appointments are not guaranteed and are difficult to come by. Failure to do so means that the student will be unable to acquire a visa and will need to defer their study abroad plans to a future term.

Italy Visa Workshop
October 9, 3:25 p.m.–4:25 p.m.
161 William Street, 16th Floor Conference Room
Students studying in Italy for the Spring 2025 semester must attend this visa workshop to learn the specific steps of the visa application process, which takes up to 12 weeks to complete. Note: Students participating in the group application process must submit all required visa materials to the Pace Education Abroad office by October 18. If this deadline is missed, the student must make an individual appointment with the Consulate to acquire a student visa. Individual appointments are not guaranteed and are difficult to come by.

France Visa Workshop
October 10, 3:25 p.m.–4:25 p.m.

Students studying in France for the Spring 2025 semester must attend this Visa Workshop to learn the specific steps of the French visa application process, which takes up to 12 weeks to complete.

Money Management & Housing Abroad Workshop
October 16, 12:10 p.m.–1:10 p.m.
15 Beekman Street, Bianco Room
Learn how to manage your finances while abroad, including creating a personalized budget, and how to navigate the housing search. This event is open to all students who have been approved to study abroad.

Life Skills with Study Abroad Alumni
October 23, 12:10 p.m.–1:10 p.m.
15 Beekman Street, Bianco Room
Meet Pace students who have already studied abroad in various countries – to learn firsthand about their experiences with culture shock, travel tips, and making friends. This event is open to all students.

Mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation for January Intersession Abroad Students
October 30, 12:10 p.m.–1:10 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.
161 William Street, 16th Floor Conference Room (afternoon session) or Zoom (evening session)
All students studying abroad during the January Intersession 2025 term must attend one of the pre-departure orientation sessions listed above, which covers important academic, housing, travel, health and safety information. Those who do not attend will not be able to register for their study abroad CRN, jeopardizing their ability to study abroad.
