Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation

The Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation offers state-of-the-art resources and a variety of clinical-focused learning opportunities ranging from fundamental skills to high-fidelity simulation.

Our simulation labs are located on both the Westchester and New York City Campuses, with a combined 15,000 square feet of laboratory learning.

Simulation modalities that are utilized to train undergraduate and graduate students include standardized patient methodology, task trainers, and high-fidelity manikins.

Scenario-Based Educational Experiences

Students practice skills, develop critical thinking, and improve performance in a safe and nurturing environment. These labs promote advanced communication skills between the different disciplines, interprofessional collaboration, multiple patient management, and the essential skills to learn to work as a team to help improve patient outcomes.
