Undergraduate Opportunities

Experiential Psychology

Our students connect with experienced, caring faculty, benefitting from one-on-one guidance and research opportunities. Their undergraduate experience culminates with Pace’s unique Experimental Psychology course, a year-long, sequential research and lab experience in which students are mentored by an expert faculty member and work alongside—rather than guided by—graduate and doctoral students engaged in the same work. Many students present their work at national conferences, where they gain experience in sharing research with influential members of the field.

Mentored Lab

The Mentored Lab courses (PSY 327/328) provide students with the opportunity to receive individualized, mentored research experience alongside a faculty member in psychology. Our students get involved in lab research highlighting the practical realities of conducting research studies in psychology, attend weekly lab meetings, and attend regular seminar meetings with other faculty members to learn about the depth and breadth of psychological research and discuss topics, methodologies, and techniques in psychological science.
