Gabriel was born and raised in the New York City area and earned a degree in Film from the University of Miami before beginning his career in the film industry in Los Angeles. His passion for intercultural engagement eventually led him to International Education. Gabriel started his teaching journey in Morocco and has since taught English and Communications at the high school and university level across four continents.
Most recently, Gabe has taught at institutions including the English Language Institute at Pace University, UNICAMP in Brazil, a private high school in Shanghai and has participated in a virtual fellowship with a Russian university sponsored by the U.S. State Department. He also earned a Master’s degree in Marketing from UAB in Spain.
Outside the classroom, Gabriel loves to explore new cultures and cuisines, watch NBA games, catch the latest thrillers on Netflix, and work on his novel.
