ELI Events & Course Schedules

Pace University ELI offers a variety of options to meet with our Admission team and experience our campuses. From private meetings with an admission advisor to information sessions with live campus tours and walking tours.

The English Language Institute also offers English and Academic support services to students, including one-on-one tutoring sessions and Conversation Groups.

Ice Skating

Every Tuesday night from 3:00 p.m. at the ice rink on The Rooftop at Pier 17. Get ready to take in the unbeatable city views and enjoy skating for just $10 (including rentals) with your Pace ID! Plus, indulge in a $5 cup of hot chocolate!

Weekly Wellness Walk (Pleasantville Campus)

Weather permitting, we will walk the scenic pond path outside the library and beyond; on icy or rainy days, we will meet at the vestibule and walk over to the Goldstein indoor track.

Guided Meditation

Join us for a weekly guided meditation with an opportunity for community, connection, and a brief discussion!

Talk: Drunken Sailors in Canton in the Age of Sail

Dr. Robert J. Antony, an expert on the history of piracy in Asian waters, will speak on the 18th- and 19th-century U.S. sailors and merchants who had connected NYC with Asia and with it, used the wealth from Asian trade to strengthen the Wall Street. These stories add a personal dimension to the economic imperialism between the U.S. and maritime Asia.

Restorative Yoga for Ethnic & Race-Based Stress and Trauma

Join Pace for our 35th year of participating in the Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, September 7 in Central Park, NYC. Pace has proudly held the title of the largest college/university team at the Race for the Cure for the past 3 ½ decades thanks to our fearless Leader, Professor Emeritus, Dr. Ellen Mandel! Join us to keep this tradition on Race Day Note…this is a race for the actual cure…not an actual race; It’s a group walk!!! If you can’t attend in person, you can still register and donate to support the cause! Every step, every voice, and every contribution matters.
