The English Language Institute’s Westchester campus is located in White Plains, a 40-minute train ride from New York City. It is a safe, quiet neighborhood with easy access to shopping and a short shuttle ride to Pace’s Pleasantville campus. There are a number of housing options available.

Pace offers a variety of residence halls at our Westchester campuses in Pleasantville and White Plains. We work hard to make living at our Westchester Campuses as safe and comfortable as possible, while being engaging and fun. Pace's residential program is designed to create a supportive environment for students to live and learn.
Students may live in one of three residence halls walking distance from classes: North Hall, Martin Hall, and Dannat Hall. View tours of each residence hall below and follow the links for detailed information.

Housing Application Procedure
Please indicate on your ELI Application that you would like to live on-campus in a Pace University residence hall. After you have received your acceptance package, you may apply for housing through the MyHousing section of Pace Portal. Our Admission team will notify you when you may apply using your Pace University student account.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required at the time you apply for housing through the MyHousing section of Pace Portal.
Homestays
Staying with a local family is a great way to experience life in New York and practice your English outside of class. To find a homestay, speak with 4stay. 4stay provides homes for international students across Westchester county; prices vary depending on location and amenities.

YMCA
Many students stay in the heart of White Plains at the local YMCA. In addition to your room, guest have access to the gym and pool. It is a short 20-minute walk from the ELI.
Apartments
Live like a local. Many students choose to live in an apartment in Westchester. This is a very authentic experience. You can find an apartment or roommate through 4stay.
