This summer course introduces students to the dynamic intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the creative fields of art, design, and media. For the program, students will explore how AI technologies are revolutionizing the way creative professionals work and gain hands-on experience using AI tools to develop their artistic projects. Through lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative projects, participants will learn the fundamentals of AI, experiment with AI-driven tools, and produce unique pieces of digital art, media, and design.

Eugenio Solis de Ovando is an experienced instructional designer, digital media expert, and educator specializing in emerging technologies and design. With over 25 years of experience, he is recognized for his innovative approach to integrating technology into education and creative media.

Solis de Ovando holds a Master of Arts in Learning and Emerging Technologies from SUNY Empire State University and is pursuing dual Ph.D. programs in Artificial Intelligence and Instructional Design. He specializes in utilizing AR, VR, and MR technologies to create engaging, user-centered educational experiences. He is proficient i Adobe tools and Learning Management Systems.

As an Adjunct Professor at Pace University and Universidad Gabriela Mistral, Solis de Ovando mentors students and develops educational programs. He also shares his expertise at international conferences. His work bridges technology and pedagogy, shaping innovative approaches to education and design.
