Program Related Grievances and Complaints
The Lienhard School of Nursing strives to provide an environment of mutual respect, cooperation, and understanding. Notwithstanding this commitment, problems and concerns sometimes occur. Resources and procedures are available to students for resolving complaints and addressing concerns. For example, concerns about violations of University policies are addressed through the University Grievance Procedure: Student Grievances Procedure.
The Lienhard School of Nursing Academic Progression Appeals Committee decides appeals of decisions dismissing students from nursing programs and the Lienhard School of Nursing for failing to satisfy the applicable academic standards. Concerns or complaints about the Lienhard School of Nursing that are outside the scope of any existing University or Lienhard School of Nursing procedure may be addressed in accordance with the procedures listed in the student handbooks.
