*Background Checks
All students are required to complete a background check prior to beginning supervised practice within the MS Nutrition and Dietetics program. Drug screening and updated background checks may be required prior to commencing subsequent supervised practice placements.
**Health insurance
All full-time students (nine or more credits in a semester) are required by Pace to have health insurance. Please visit the Pace Health Insurance web site to either apply for Pace's health plan or, if you have your own insurance, opt out of Pace's health plan by the deadline.
***Professional Liability Insurance
Students participating in College of Health Professions supervised practice programs are covered under the College’s insurance. Work at the supervised practice site, professional liability, as well as travel to and from supervised practice sites are covered under this insurance. Should students wish to purchase additional professional liability insurance, they will be responsible for this out-of-pocket payment.
