General Manager
Kate Holland, General Manager, is a self-identified multihyphenate theater professional. Most recently she held the position of Executive Director at Triad Stage in Greensboro, North Carolina where she worked with the staff and Board of Directors on strategies to reopen post- the COVID-19 pandemic. Kate has also held administrative roles at The Juilliard School, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, The Shed NYC, Aruba Productions, and Hudson Theatre/Ambassador Theatre Group. As a Theatrical Production Manager, she has worked at the University of Maryland’s Clarice Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Baltimore Center Stage, and for various off-Broadway companies including Transport Group and the Vineyard Theatre. Additionally, she has been a member of AEA since 2008, working as both an actor and a stage manager. Kate has a Master of Arts in Musical Theatre Vocal Performance from the Steinhardt School at NYU, a Master of Science in Performing Arts Leadership and Management from Shenandoah Conservatory. She is currently working on a PhD in Arts Administration at the University of Kentucky, where she will also be teaching remotely this year. Kate’s research interests are sustainable work practices and human resource management in the theater industry.
