JC Vasquez’s varied background encompasses physical and classical theatre training; along with contemporary styles (Strasberg, Meisner, Chekov) and meditation, yoga, dance, classical music as well. He has studied with Suzanne Farrell (George Balanchine’s muse), Bill Bowers (student under Marcel Marceau), Mala Powers (direct student of Michael Checkov) and many other notables under Lee Strasberg.
As a performer has appeared in various theatre productions regionally and off broadway. Credits include Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Hamlet, West Side Story, Saint Joan, Surrender, Black Snow among others.
He holds an MFA in Acting from The New School.
