Recruitment Opportunities

  • You can share job listings with Haub Law students and alumni by posting on our Career Services Management System, Symplicity. There is no fee to post with us. Please view the instructions below to post a job or internship opportunity.

If needed, we can assist you with drafting a job description that will attract candidates to your job. Additionally, our office is happy to identify candidates who might be a good fit for your position. Please reach out to us to let us know more about your practice and hiring needs so that we can identify candidates specifically tailored to you. If you require assistance, please email careers@law.pace.edu or call us at (914) 422-4217.

  • To post a job listing on Symplicity, you must first sign up for an employer account on Symplicity. Your registration will be processed by the Center for Career & Professional Development during business hours. Once your account is approved, you will receive an email with a link to set your password.

When you are ready to post the position, log into your Symplicity account and select “Post a Job.” Enter all of the required information regarding the position.

    Job listings should include:

    • A brief description of your organization and the position, as well as any job-specific requirements or preferences (e.g., GPA requirement, types of experiences, bar membership, foreign language skills, etc.).
    • Class years/minimum number of years of experience of candidates sought.
    • Application materials requested (e.g., resume, cover letter, writing sample, transcript).
    • Salary range (since many jurisdictions, including New York State, now require pay transparency as to the salary range for a posted position, we ask all employers to disclose the hourly or annual salary range in their job listings).
    • Contact information.
    • Preferred method of application.

You will receive an email confirmation when your listing has been activated. All jobs entered by employers are vetted by a member of our staff.

    Please note:

    1. To ensure that listings are in compliance with the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), we do not post maximum caps on the number of years of experience required for a position.
    2. Since in a number of jurisdictions including New York City, employers no longer can ask about or rely on salary history during the hiring process, we do not include requests for salary history in job listings.
  • John Jay Legal Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit legal services firm that houses and runs the externship programs at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. • Our On-Campus/Virtual Recruitment Program begins in late July and runs through mid-October. Employers seeking to hire students for summer internships and/or post-graduate jobs register with us to collect application materials from students through our Career Services Management System, Symplicity.

Employers who wish to interview students through the program (either on our White Plains campus or virtually through Symplicity) may select an interview date between late July and mid-October; however, please note that interview dates are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Employers may choose between a full-day or half-day interview schedule and 20 or 30-minute time slots. Free parking and a private interview room are available.

Employers who are unable to interview on campus or virtually but would like to review materials from our students may register for our Resume Collection Program. Requested student materials will be collected and sent to the employer. Employers may then contact students directly to set up interviews.

Employers can register for our recruitment program on Symplicity. Please contact the Center for Career and Professional Development with any questions at careers@law.pace.edu or (914) 422-4217.
