JD Students

JD students at Haub Law have access to a wealth of career support and mentoring through the Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD), the Public Interest Law Center (PILC), and the Haub Law Alumni Association.

Students meet with a career counselor in their first semester and throughout law school for coaching and guidance on exploring and pursuing their chosen career path. Career counselors provide personalized support for students, including resume and cover letter review, job-search strategies, interviewing skills, and networking opportunities. Additionally, we offer numerous resources to help students stay on track with the opportunities and requirements necessary at each phase of their law school journey.

The CCPD also administers the Professional Development program at Haub Law, which enables JD students to develop their professional knowledge and skills and engage with practicing attorneys through meetings with career counselors and various professional development programs.

LLM and SJD Students

We offer career counseling meetings as well as resume and cover letter review services to LLM and SJD students. In addition, Haub Law’s Office of Graduate Programs and International Affairs provides coordinated career support to LLM, SJD, and international exchange students.
