A Career in Law and Technology
If you are thinking about Law and Technology as an area of practice, you are preparing for internships or permanent placements in the following settings:
- Consulting firm or other alternative professional setting
You may do any of the following in practice:
- Advise clients regarding effect of technology on their legal or regulatory position
- Assist clients in planning use of technology in pursuing litigation or corporate strategy
Students pursuing this Path to Practice should combine it with courses from the Paths to Practice in Business Law, Civil Litigation/Dispute Resolution, and Intellectual Property.

- Privacy and Information Law LAW 705
You should also take one or two courses in the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems
