In the summer, Pace | Haub Environmental Law offers an 8-day intensive, three (3) credit field course running in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. This unique experience introduces students to the law of natural resources, with an emphasis on federal statutes that govern access to and use of natural resources such as wildlife, and biodiversity, wilderness and protected lands, water resources, and forests. The course is taught by Professor Jason Czarnezki (Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University) and Professor Sam Kalen (University of Wyoming School of Law) with additional guest lectures. During the course, students participate in field trips and excursions using vehicles provided by the University of Wyoming.

Students from both the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and the University of Wyoming are eligible to participate in the course. Haub Law students must be enrolled in the course Natural Resources Law LAW 917. Acceptance for registration for the course is with permission of the instructor only and applications are accepted in the spring semester. There are additional fees/costs to participate in the field study. The Course Fee does NOT include tuition.
