Katrina Kuh, Haub Distinguished Professor of Environmental Law, Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, said: ‘So many factors will determine how successfully a nation will be able to implement any of the recommendations included in the report. So many factors could impede change, including war or endemic poverty. And, with climate change itself being a destabilizing force, it could hamper the implementation of adaptation policy as attention is diverted towards dealing with its immediate effects.
The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University team placed first in the 9th Annual Stanley M. Grossman Innovators Invitational. The event is held annually by The Center for Urban Business Entrepreneurship (CUBE) at Brooklyn Law School. The Haub Law team consisted of students Gabriella Mickel, Daniel Guarracino, and Lili Caparosa and was led by Elyse Diamond, Director, Public Interest Law Center and Adjunct Professor of Law at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.

Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University honored the achievement of seven distinguished retiring faculty members at a celebration held at the law school on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. The honorees, including Karl S. Coplan, Linda C. Fentiman, Margaret M. Flint, Marie Stefanini Newman, John R. Nolon, Audrey Rogers, Merril Sobie, retired over the past three years. Fellow faculty, alumni, students and colleagues gathered together for the first time since the pandemic to thank them for their years of teaching, scholarship and service to the law school.

“The charges against Ahmad Al Faqi Al Mahdi were focused,” and the case proceeded quickly, said Alexander K. A. Greenawalt, a law professor at Pace University. “The ICC could use more cases like that one, as the more typical prosecutions are very resource-intensive and take years. That has limited the number of cases the court has been able to process.”
