The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University has received a generous five-year grant to name its Investor Rights Clinic after RealFi Financial LLC, a leading, technology-driven, real estate lending and asset management firm.
Professor Nicholas A. Robinson of Pace University has argued that had the amendment existed at the time of contamination, it may have enabled the citizens of Hoosick Falls to go to court at once, instead of having to wait nearly two years for the DEC or EPA to respond.
The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is pleased to announce that five new members have joined its Board of Visitors. All five new members are alumni of the Law School. The new members include Jeffrey Delaney, Susan Galvao, Paul Humphreys, John Lettera, and Chris Wallace.

They came together, along with contributing authors Professors Joseph Morreale and Anna Shostya, and Pace University President Marvin Krislov to discuss the book in the timely context of the recent COP26 climate change conference.

Bridget Crawford, a law professor at Pace University, said the tax on unrealized gains works like this: “If I bought Microsoft for $1 a share, and it’s currently worth $10 a share, even though I haven’t sold it, the Wyden plan would tax me on $9 of gain. Current law says, ‘Well, Bridget Crawford doesn’t get taxed until she actually sells it.’”
After successfully finishing in the top four in the regional competition, the Haub Law Advocacy Team advanced to the Semi Final Round in the All Star Bracket Competition last week which featured 64 of the top trial programs in the Country.
